About
What We Do
The Pleasant Valley High School Foundation funds programs that allow PV students to achieve excellence in their academic, creative and social development.
We fund grants that provide innovative programs designed to enrich Pleasant Valley’s curriculum. We also support professional development, staff recognition and projects that enhance district resources.
Working closely with community supporters to obtain funding for programs that would not otherwise be available, our goal is to grant 150,000 back to Pleasant Valley High School in the next 10 years.
Reasons To Consider Giving
Quality education is an investment in the future for all of us. Private support for our nation's public schools is becoming increasingly important as shrinking tax dollars and growing demand put a strain on funding. As a 2007 California Distinguished School, PVHS is recognized as a valuable asset to the community.
By investing in Pleasant Valley High School through the Foundation, you make a vital contribution to the goal of providing superior education. Pleasant Valley’s continuing success and outstanding reputation are the keys to the economic strength, vitality and desirability of our town and neighborhoods. Many of Chico’s business, civic and cultural leaders have graduated from Pleasant Valley, establishing a notable legacy and reputation for excellence.
You have an opportunity to make a difference. We invite you to be a part of the Pleasant Valley High School Foundation. Working together, we will maintain our tradition of excellence
