Legacy Society
The Legacy Society is one of several opportunities for the community to become involved in quality education at Pleasant Valley High School. We work with advisors from the North Valley Community Foundation to create a plan to fit your needs in planned giving.
To achieve your vision of providing valuable financial support to PVHS students and programs, choose the method that best suits your circumstances. Fortunately, you have many available options. You can make an outright gift that assures you a current tax dedication and allows PVHS Foundation to use the gift for immediate needs, or you may give a deferred gift. A deferred gift plan will assure a current tax deduction.
Please call the NVCF office (530-891-1150) and ask for Lee Laney for more information.
Dear Friends,
As a former vice-principal of Pleasant Valley High School, I am writing today to urge you to join with me and invest in the future of Pleasant Valley High School.
We’ve all watched funding for public education and extracurricular activities decrease over the years. From sports to drama to music, funding for critical enhancements that make Pleasant Valley a great school for our kids may not be available for future generations.
Recently, a group of former PVHS staff, alumni, parents and community members formed PVHS Foundation to provide sustainable, long-term financial support for academic and extra-curricular programs.
But we need your help. A donation today will meet student’s immediate needs. Making PVHS Foundation a part of your estate plan ensures that your gift keeps on giving, long into the future.
Please join with me and support Pleasant Valley High School through the PVHS Foundation.
Larry Jones
Former Vice-Principal, Pleasant Valley High School 1978-2002
