Memorials

Often it is fitting that a special cause or organization is designated at the time of bereavement. Memorial funds can celebrate the life of a loved one while providing valuable support to deserving students and programs. If you are close to Pleasant Valley High School, consider the Foundation as a designee, and memorialize a loved one with an endowment fund in their name. A fund may be created by any individual with an initial gift of $5,000, with the monies being used as you designate. After the fund is created, anyone may donate their honor. The loved one’s name will be listed in a special place in our Annual Report with the names of all those who have contributed to their memorial fund. The family will be sent a card explaining your gift, but not the amount. Note the name and address of the family to whom the card should be sent in the comments section.

Honors

Maybe it is a birthday, an anniversary, a wedding, a retirement, a milestone of teaching service or a job well done. You can make a memorable contribution to the Foundation’s Annual Fund and bring a smile to the face of the honoree. The honoree will be sent a card explaining your gift, but not the amount. Note in the "comments" section the name and address of the honoree.

The PVHS Foundation is a program of the North Valley Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.  Contributions are deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
